Rainbow Families is run by a committee of volunteers from within the group, we hold monthly committee meetings hosted by different parents where we discuss funding, advertising, activities, news, communications etc. In recent years the group has been successful in applying for and being awarded several grants which help to, fund the hire of venues for our meetings, play materials and subsidise some events. In order to meet criteria for funding we now have a revised constitution, a child protection policy, and financial processes in place. Committee meetings are open to everyone and new volunteers are very welcome.
The committee will stand down in April each year and a new one will be voted in.
